We have the latest for you on the spoilers, trailer, premiere, characters, plot and latest news of the Walking Dead season 5. Set to premiere this October 12th, the Walking Dead season 5 will see Rick Grimes and his people having to encounter survivors of Terminus. Though details about the new season are scarce, producers have promised fans that if they are looking forward to this new season, they have a lot in store for them for it has some crazy plot points that will have them edged to their seats.

A sequence of photos, uploaded on a tweet feed posted by Norman Reedus who plays the role of Daryl, reveal or give a hint of what is to be expected in the season. In one of the photos, Reedus can be seen with make-up artist and producer, Greg Nicotero in one of the take scenes.

“Nicotero n I just got hitched,” one tweet said. “I said yes,” Reedus tweeted a few hours later. “Divorced,” the final tweet said.

In the photos tweeted, all show Reedus hands in some sort of bloody effect which is a hint. Going back to the comic series one can understand the hint as it’s similar to Rick Grimes’s first encounter with the governor which in turn had him have one of his hands chopped off. Seeing as how things turned out, it seems that one of the characters might suffer the same fate as Rick, an amputation but according to the tweets it looks like it is Daryl’s fate. But maybe it’s just Reedus playing around with the minds of the fans as the last tweeted picture depicts a ringed finger. (more…)

‘The Walking Dead’ season 5: Carol and Tyresse to hook up next season?

The premiere of the fifth season of “The Walking Dead” is just over a month away, and spoilers and teasers continue to emerge.

The zombie-infested TV show features mainly the characters’ struggle for survival. Surprisingly, fans are also interested on who will be hooking up amidst theirs battles against the undead. Celeb Dirty Laundry piqued the interest of many fans and dished out some of the possible couple pairings next season, including Carol and Tyresse.

According to the website, although it may seem odd that romance will spring between the two, it is possible and their previous interaction hints that they may be going for that road. Although Carol murdered his former love, she has been honest to Tyresse about it, and the two seem to have a “family-like relationship” going on. The report also mentions possible hookups between Michonne and Daryl, and between Rosita and Rick.

Meanwhile, AMC released two trailer videos for “The Walking Dead” season 5. One shows Rick Grimes in the woods shouting, “It’s not over till they’re all dead. They don’t get to live.” This trailer also shows Maggie Greene and Carol Peletier fighting walkers in the woods. In the other teaser trailer of the upcoming season, Gareth and his goons appear to torture Rick, Daryl and Glenn in Terminus.

Latest spoilers of “The Walking Dead” season 5 claim that The Governor is set to reappear next season, with a possibility that he will come back as a zombie. Moreover, other characters that are expected to come back include Beth Greene after she was kidnapped by unknown men, and the Broadcasting Woman as a zombie.

The fifth season of the zombie apocalypse series is reported to be full of deaths, which is nothing new for the fans, although AMC has not confirmed which characters will exit the series next season. The cast and crew are reportedly wrapping up filming in Atlanta. “The Walking Dead” season 5 will be back on air on Oct. 12, 9 p.m. on AMC.

‘The Walking Dead’ star Norman Reedus describes a ‘feral’ Daryl in season 5

Nobody puts baby in a corner, and nobody puts Daryl Dixon in a train car. So how does Daryl feel about the predicament he’s in when season 5 of The Walking Dead kicks off Oct. 12 on AMC? We went and asked the man who plays him, Norman Reedus.

“Wow, he’s trapped in a box, so I think he’s probably pretty feral at the moment,” Reedus told us on a break from shooting his EW Walking Dead cover. “He’s probably a little scared which makes him a little more feral.” So there you have it. A feral Daryl.

But how has current Daryl changed from when we first met the character back in season 1? We asked Reedus that also because…well, he’s sitting right there at our photo shoot just sort of hanging out, so why not? “He’s changed a lot of ways since season 1,” says Reedus. “In season 1 he had such a chip on his shoulder and didn’t think people trusted him and he didn’t trust other people. Everything just kind of came out of the side of his head. This season he’s very much in your face and his shoulders are square to you and he means what he says. He’ll look you in the face. People rely on him now and I think before he thought people would cross the street if he was walking toward you. Now he’s an integral part of the group. People trust him and I think he’s accepted that trust.”

Looks like Terminus really wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

Last season on The Walking Dead, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his people risked their lives searching for the mysterious sanctuary – only to be taken hostage. Rick cursed their captors, vowing, “They’re going to feel pretty stupid when they find out … that they’re screwing with the wrong people.”

In a still from Season 5 shared exclusively with PEOPLE, Rick seems to be keeping his promise, armed and ready for the fight alongside Daryl (Norman Reedus).
