‘The Walking Dead’ season 5: Carol and Tyresse to hook up next season?

The premiere of the fifth season of “The Walking Dead” is just over a month away, and spoilers and teasers continue to emerge.

The zombie-infested TV show features mainly the characters’ struggle for survival. Surprisingly, fans are also interested on who will be hooking up amidst theirs battles against the undead. Celeb Dirty Laundry piqued the interest of many fans and dished out some of the possible couple pairings next season, including Carol and Tyresse.

According to the website, although it may seem odd that romance will spring between the two, it is possible and their previous interaction hints that they may be going for that road. Although Carol murdered his former love, she has been honest to Tyresse about it, and the two seem to have a “family-like relationship” going on. The report also mentions possible hookups between Michonne and Daryl, and between Rosita and Rick.

Meanwhile, AMC released two trailer videos for “The Walking Dead” season 5. One shows Rick Grimes in the woods shouting, “It’s not over till they’re all dead. They don’t get to live.” This trailer also shows Maggie Greene and Carol Peletier fighting walkers in the woods. In the other teaser trailer of the upcoming season, Gareth and his goons appear to torture Rick, Daryl and Glenn in Terminus.

Latest spoilers of “The Walking Dead” season 5 claim that The Governor is set to reappear next season, with a possibility that he will come back as a zombie. Moreover, other characters that are expected to come back include Beth Greene after she was kidnapped by unknown men, and the Broadcasting Woman as a zombie.

The fifth season of the zombie apocalypse series is reported to be full of deaths, which is nothing new for the fans, although AMC has not confirmed which characters will exit the series next season. The cast and crew are reportedly wrapping up filming in Atlanta. “The Walking Dead” season 5 will be back on air on Oct. 12, 9 p.m. on AMC.

‘The Walking Dead’: Seth Gilliam learns that ‘TWD’ isn’t just a zombie show

Fans of “The Walking Dead” have known for some time that Seth Gilliam had been cast as new character Father Gabriel Stokes. Even when it was reported that he would be playing someone named Michael Todd, viewers speculated that it was really a cover for his true role. Now that the truth is out, the actor finally spoke about the show with Entertainment Weekly. Published on Wednesday, Gilliam discussed his audition, the comic books and how he learned that “The Walking Dead” isn’t just a zombie show.

The interview started out with Seth talking about his audition. It turns out that fans were not the only ones who were told that Gilliam would be playing Michael on “The Walking Dead” season 5. When the actor auditioned for the role, the reading involved a school guidance counselor named Michael, who had issues with some of his students. Because he had not seen the show or read “The Walking Dead” comics, he only had his assumptions based on the part he was reading. After he was made an offer, Gale Anne Hurd called him to reveal who he would really be playing, which was about a week after his audition.

Filming of The Walking Dead Season 5: Back to an Urban Area! (VIDEO)

Carl Grimes, Michonne, and Rick Grimes Walk in The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 15: “Us” When The Walking Dead first began several years ago the epicenter of the drama was in downtown Atlanta (remember when Merle was handcuffed to a pipe on the roof of that office building?) but slowly we moved away from the city to Hershel Greene’s (Scott Wilson) farm, Woodbury, and for the first half of last season, the prison.

As we left things at the end of Season 4, much of our group was locked inside that Terminus train car, but we’ll know they’ll be getting out soon or later and it sounds like we might be headed back into ATL.

In a new video from AMC, TWD location manager Michael Reilly discusses recently shooting a Season 5 scene in Atlanta proper. “We have moved back into an urban area, during the week, on a business day. It’s a big logistical nightmare.” However, whether or not this means our survivors are headed back to Atlanta or Atlanta is going to be made to look like another locale remains to be seen. They have to begin the journey to Washington D.C. sometime…

xplaining what goes into shooting any scene, Michael says, “You gotta get the proper permits to shut the streets down, there are notifications that you have to do, you can’t just show up. You have to give people fair notice that you’re coming.”

It may be a pain in the ass, but it’s an important part of the TWD magic. “To us it’s about controlling where we are,” Michael points out, reminding us that the post-apocalyptic landscape has a very distinct look. “Everything has to be trashed and burned out. We have to dress everything.”

And when the TWD cast and crew need to shoot in a specific location, it’s common for them to shut down the area a block or two around where they are actually shooting, partly because of safety concerns and not wanting to spoil anything for the viewers. Production designer Grace Walker notes, “Some of the security factors that come into place are when we’re filming in towns, cities, or wherever crowds can gather. It becomes difficult for locations.”

In order to protect the cast, crew, and plot, production routinely puts up tents around the set. TWD may be a massive production that lasts from July to November each year, but Michael prides himself on the fact that he and his staff always take the community into consideration when filming. As he puts it, “There’s not a location that I haven’t been to in my entire career that I could not go back to and shoot again.”

Are you surprised that shooting TWD is such a hassle? Happy we’re headed back into an urban area? Watch the complete video and then weigh in below!

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres on October 12 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.

‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 premiere spoilers: The Governor to return next season?

walking_dead_ver21_xlgLatest spoilers of “The Walking Dead” season 5 claimed that The Governor is set to reappear next season.

Moviepilot first reported that David Morrissey was spotted at the set of “The Walking Dead” in Senoia, Georgia. According to reports, the actor was in town to visit his friends.

However, some people do not believe this and said that The Governor was on the set because he will appear next season either as a flashback or a hallucination of one of the cast members. His alleged appearance is most probably a surprise to the waiting “The Walking Dead” fans.

On the other hand, some fans think that there is a conspiracy behind The Governor’s death and some of the fans think that The Governor is not really dead after getting stabbed by Michonne and shot by Lilly.

His comeback was fueled when he did not confirm or deny that The Governor will be gone for good. “Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can’t confirm and I can’t deny anything. Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see,” he told Press Association.

Meanwhile, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd said that The Governor is already dead, but it does not mean that he will not appear in some episodes. There are other characters that are coming back next season such as Beth Greene after being kidnapped by unknown men and the Broadcasting Woman as a zombie. There is also a possibility that The Governor will come back as a zombie.

On the other hand, the fifth season of the zombie apocalypse series is reported to be full of deaths although AMC has not confirmed which characters will exit the series. The cast and crew are all back to work and are currently filming in Atlanta. “The Walking Dead” season 5 will be back on air on October 12, 9PM on AMC.
