‘The Walking Dead’ season 5: Carol and Tyresse to hook up next season?

The premiere of the fifth season of “The Walking Dead” is just over a month away, and spoilers and teasers continue to emerge.

The zombie-infested TV show features mainly the characters’ struggle for survival. Surprisingly, fans are also interested on who will be hooking up amidst theirs battles against the undead. Celeb Dirty Laundry piqued the interest of many fans and dished out some of the possible couple pairings next season, including Carol and Tyresse.

According to the website, although it may seem odd that romance will spring between the two, it is possible and their previous interaction hints that they may be going for that road. Although Carol murdered his former love, she has been honest to Tyresse about it, and the two seem to have a “family-like relationship” going on. The report also mentions possible hookups between Michonne and Daryl, and between Rosita and Rick.

Meanwhile, AMC released two trailer videos for “The Walking Dead” season 5. One shows Rick Grimes in the woods shouting, “It’s not over till they’re all dead. They don’t get to live.” This trailer also shows Maggie Greene and Carol Peletier fighting walkers in the woods. In the other teaser trailer of the upcoming season, Gareth and his goons appear to torture Rick, Daryl and Glenn in Terminus.

Latest spoilers of “The Walking Dead” season 5 claim that The Governor is set to reappear next season, with a possibility that he will come back as a zombie. Moreover, other characters that are expected to come back include Beth Greene after she was kidnapped by unknown men, and the Broadcasting Woman as a zombie.

The fifth season of the zombie apocalypse series is reported to be full of deaths, which is nothing new for the fans, although AMC has not confirmed which characters will exit the series next season. The cast and crew are reportedly wrapping up filming in Atlanta. “The Walking Dead” season 5 will be back on air on Oct. 12, 9 p.m. on AMC.

The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoiler: Maggie and Glenn Are in Danger! (PHOTOS)

The Walking Dead actors Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) may agree their respective characters function better when they’re trapped at Terminus together as opposed to freely roaming the world apart, but a new set of photos from Season 5 might alter their opinions. Things aren’t looking so great for neither Glenn nor Maggie!

In one snapshot from the upcoming season, Maggie is in a warehouse of some kind with walkers right behind her. She’s heavily armed and her new locale is easily an upgrade from a dark train car, but by no means is she free and clear. One walker is looking for a bite and even though we know Maggie could take him, something about the look on her face tells us there’s more going on here than meets the eye.

The green and white walls in the background seem to indicate that we’re still at Terminus (creepy candle room, anyone?) and Maggie is glaring at something that has piqued her interest outside the frame. Did she discover the truth about whether or not the Termites are cannibals? Is Gareth putting her through some kind of test? Is that gaze directed at her boo, Glenn?

Speaking of Glenn, another photo from Season 5 shows him in a similarly tough situation. Like Maggie, Glenn is facing down several walkers. While one stands directly in front of Glenn, the former pizza delivery dude seems more interested in the undead fella to the left. He looks a bit worried (though we bet he’s glad he’s got that gun in his hands) but more than anything he seems curious about something offscreen.

What’s going on with these two lovebirds? Should we be concerned? Feel free to share your thoughts and theories below!

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres on October 12 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.

“The Walking Dead” – Lauren Cohan Covers “Maxim”

Take another look @ Brit actress Lauren Cohan, who plays ‘Maggie’, a human survivor on AMC’s ultra-violent ‘zombie’ TV series “The Walking Dead”, in a revealing pictorial for “Maxim” magazine.

Cohan’s major movie acting debut was the 2005 film “Casanova” as ‘Sister Beatrice’.

In 2006, she starred in the sequel to “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder”, titled “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj” playing the role of ‘Charlotte Higginson’.

‘Walking Dead’ Season 5 Spoilers: Premiere Title Released

walking dead

Rick’s group will have to be “resourceful” and “brutal” when Season 5 of “The Walking Dead” premieres on AMC Oct. 12.  AMC

“The Walking Dead” is still a few weeks away from its Season 5 premiere, but fans don’t have to wait until then to take a bite out of the coming drama. The title for the premiere episode has been released online — and it’s bound to send chills down your spine.

TVLine reported Season 5 Episode 1 is called “No Sanctuary.” And based on the Season 4 finale cliffhanger, we’d say it’s a suitable title.

Fans of the hit AMC series will remember the group had been forced to split up following the Governor’s attack on the prison. The second half of Season 4 followed the survivors as they sought out food, shelter and weapons while fighting not only zombies, but humans as well. However, there was one thing that gave them hope when times got tough — “sanctuary.”

“Terminus,” Daryl heard on a radio broadcast before the downfall of the prison. “Those that arrive, survive. Sanctuary for all.”

After the group split, the survivors began stumbling across signs for Terminus. Hopeful for another safe haven and to potentially meet up with former group members, (almost) everyone began heading for the supposed “sanctuary.” But as “Walking Dead” viewers saw in the Season 4 finale, Terminus did not turn out to be the safe ground they were hoping for. Glenn’s and Maggie’s group was locked up and stripped of their weapons and supplies. Rick, Michonne, Daryl and Carl came shortly afterward and met a similar fate. The good news? Most of the prison survivors were able to reunite. The bad news? Nobody was certain what the folks at Terminus had in store for them.

As Maggie’s Lauren Cohan revealed during the special summer episode of “The Talking Dead,” the Season 5 premiere of “The Walking Dead” is going to be “do or die.” Rick and the others not only will have to be “resourceful” to get out of the mess at Terminus, but also will have to be “brutal.”

After an emphasis on a giant barbeque pit of meat, and an area full of what looked like human remains, “Walking Dead” fans began speculating the survivors had accidentally stumbled into a camp full of cannibals. If the rumors turn out to be true, then the Season 5 premiere title will truly live up to its name, “No Sanctuary.”

The Walking Dead Season 5 Is “Grown-Up” — See Characters Beaten and Bloody on Entertainment Weekly Covers (PHOTOS)

Season 4 of The Walking Dead may have started with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) listening to his iPod as he tended to his garden and doted on his (soon-to-be-deadly) little piglets, but Season 5 is already proving to be an entirely different beast. Farmer Rick is long gone, and considering that he and many of the others were locked in a train car at Terminus when Season 4 ended, we’d say that’s a good thing.

Rick, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) with Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) are featured on four different covers of Entertainment Weekly for the publication’s September issue, and although the covers are wonderfully bloody and brutal in their own right, it’s what the cast and producers have to say inside the pages of the mag that has us really intrigued.

According to Andy, for example, TWD Season 5 is more mature than ever before. “We’re really earning our rating this season,” he explains. “There are families that watch it together, but just so it’s on the record, guys — it’s a grown-up show this season.” In other words, put the kiddies to bed before you settle down to check out Season 5. If Rick’s bloody-knuckled EW cover is any indication of what’s to come, we’ll take Andy’s word for it.

And while we’ve grown accustomed to time jumps between seasons of TWD, executive producer Robert Kirkman once again assures us that won’t be the case this time around — we have to see how everyone busts out of that train car!

“By minute two or three of our season premiere, I think the vast majority of our questions have been answered,” Robert reveals, but it true TWD fashion, it’s not that simple. He continued, “and five or six more have been presented, so you’re very much going to be invested, well-informed, and ready for the ride that we’re going to take you on.” Oh RK, we’ve been ready since the Season 4 finale last March!

Check out all of the TWD Entertainment Weekly covers below — also including several faces of Daryl Dixon, an armed Maggie and Glenn, and a many-handed Michonne — and tell us your thoughts!
